A simple solopreneur story showing how fresh, high-scoring beans unlock better mornings fast.
Wanna hear the Best Coffee Story Online?
It’s wild. It’s real. And it starts with a mistake.
I used to think buying fancy gear fixed bad coffee. New brewer? Fixed. New kettle? Fixed. Spoiler: nothing was fixed. The coffee still tasted… sad.
Then life smacked me. COVID crushed my first business. I lost my home. No partner. No paycheck. Just me, my car, and a dream that felt too far away.
But that long drive from DC back to Jersey? With bags of beans and a head full of big feelings?
That’s when everything changed.
Five years later, I roast high-scoring specialty coffee in my best friend’s kitchen in Hopewell, NJ.
Shoutout @lorepasta — thanks for keeping me caffeinated and alive.
Now I do it all: source, roast, pack, ship, educate, support… I’m basically a one-man caffeine circus.
And my whole mission? Not to sell you.
To teach you how to taste the good stuff and enjoy the best tasting craft coffee at home.
Let’s build your better mornings together.
I roast coffee every weekday. I buy from trusted farms. I cup everything. I know why coffee tastes sweet one day and weird the next.
Most people think bad coffee is a gear issue. But the real issue?
Old beans
Wrong water

Why fresh, high-scoring beans from small batch coffee roasters online always win:
Best-by dates protect the company.
Roast dates protect the flavor.
Choose beans roasted within 7–14 days for your best cup.
Light roast: fruit, flowers, sweetness
Medium roast: balance, chocolate, smoothness
Dark roast: bold, deep, low acidity
Decaf: choose Swiss Water or sugarcane process for best results
Single origin coffee beans online: fun flavors, unique notes
Blends: smoother, everyday drinkers
If you want café-level flavor → start with single origin.
Use bags with one-way valves
Keep beans in a cool, dark spot
Don’t freeze a whole bag
Freeze in small portions only if needed
If your cup tastes sharp, add 1 extra gram of coffee next brew.
If the finish feels empty, grind slightly finer — tiny changes matter.
If your cup feels muddy, rinse your paper filter twice before brewing.
It’s my real journey from losing everything to roasting better coffee and helping people enjoy café flavor at home.
Look for small batch roasters who roast fresh, offer roast dates, and ship fast.
