Appearance:
Fire Skulls & Money IPA poured a rich hazy orange color in our New Taster. Beer Tasting Glasses. The IPA produced a beautiful off-white head that led into tropical aromatics.
Nose:
The off-white juice-forward head produced wonderful tropical, citrus, and grassy aromatics. We picked up a lot of citrus rind (grapefruit + orange) and grassy aromas.Palate:
While the wonderful citrus and tropical-forward aromatics are settling, you receive a punch of citrus rind and grassy bitterness to remind you it's a west coast-inspired IPA.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, Fire Skulls & Money was an accurate interpretation of a west coast inspired New England IPA. We really enjoyed this offering from TG and look forward to trying more hop-forward beers from them.
