You're simple, unique, and proper. Drink from a glass that matches your style!
Appearance:
Aslin's double dry-hopped Dunley Place double IPA poured a hazy orange color into our Drink Local Mini Teku Glass. The DIPA sported a small white head with good lacing.
Nose:
Double Dry-hopped Dunley Place smells like a tropical fruit bomb. Plenty of berry and stone fruit aromas with noticeable amounts of passionfruit and mango. This DIPA displays a complex aroma profile.
Palate:
Aslin Beer Company's DDH Dunley Place is a smooth and light-bodied IPA full of Nelson and Galaxy hops. The flavor profile is very similar to the aroma profile. This DIPA is juicy and tastes like a tropical smoothie. Crushed grapes, peach and berries Double dry-hopped Dunley place stays true to the New England Style IPA - low bitterness and moderate carbonation.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, DDH Dunley Place is a delicious New England Style Double India Pale Ale from Aslin Beer Company. Double dry-hopped Dunley Place is a fragrant and flavorful IPA that showcases the Galaxy and Nelson hops really well. We definitely suggest trying it!
We frequent Aslin Beer Company on a weekly basis for their highly sought after cans of IPA. Aslin typically releases several craft beer cans on Thursdays at 3:00 pm; however, Aslin occasionally has Saturday can releases, too. Unfortunately, Aslin does not have a taproom, but they are in the process of building a new facility that will accommodate plenty of thirsty local beer drinkers.
We recommend visiting this fantastic craft brewery for their limited release craft beer cans, or a fresh growler of their hazy IPA or double IPA.
Our Recommendations:
Aslin Beer Company:
DDH Neutrino (IPA), Double Orange Starfish (DIPA), Stellar Parallax (DIPA), How Now Brown Cow (Stout Beer), DDH Orange Starfish (IPA), and DDH Dunley Place (DIPA).
